Classrooms

Initial study of acoustic conditioning for classrooms, bathrooms and Direction of the Institute of Microbiology Paulo Góes of UFRJ.

The problem dealt by the students is to acoustically condition the speaker studied, because of the high noise level in the place it is necessary to speak very loudly. There is a concern to make students aware of the acoustic quality of the classroom in real projects in contact with the client. The job is to analyze the situation and propose solutions accompanied by a budget. Four (04) stages are defined: problem analysis, in situ investigation (acoustic photography), acoustic calculations, presentation of budget solutions. The students carried out on-site measurements, analyzed the acoustic conditions of the enclosure in question and proposed insulation solutions in relation to disturbing sources.
