This multidisciplinary project aims the reform of a specialty outpatient clinic from Instituto de Puericultura e Pediatria Martagão Gesteira da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (IPPMG-CCS-UFRJ) and the bathrooms of this specialty. This original project deals with the formulation of layout for the ambulatory, consisting of the three (03) steps, initially. There was a first step of analysis of the problem, then a survey in situ and, finally, presentation of solutions with budget. The physical space of 417qm deals with the clinic, central area of access to different rooms and halls, with addition of toilets and service room for maintenance. The central area counts with the largest area, aproximately 350qm and it´s accessed through an universal acess ramp. Counting with long linear databases, ergonomic and has panels on the walls area for displaying the work of users of Pediatrics and gives access to the waiting room and other rooms, including rooms and bathrooms and service desk. The viability of this project led to collaboration with several units of UFRJ, generating a most ambitious project, which won a didactic-pedagogic aspect by binding the disciplines of graduation of these units, engaging teachers and students of these units in drafting and detailing of the architectural project, thus opening an unprecedented possibility of contact with their professional practice, not through a simulation but through an active participation in all stages of a breath project. One of the most significant features of the project is the search for universal access spaces and ambience pleasing to children. Configures itself a propose for layout formulation dedicated not only to the comfort of direct users but also concerned with the conservation of natural resources. The natural character of the resulting architectural design marked by this concern with the conservation of nature and with the economy of public resources, your multi-institutional stroke, generating a truly dynamic university, associated with the active participation and creator of undergraduates, form a unique experience at UFRJ.
