Revitalization of the National Forest of Goytacazes and establishment of a didactic and cultural infrastructure of leisure.

This area will be deployed the Visitor Center, where events will take place, meetings, exhibitions, information spaces, etc. The building also has an auditorium for 150 people, bicycle storage and there will be parking for buses and visitors vehicles, as well as seating and food for students visiting the site (where bike rental for visitors will be possible). The site will also cover a mini-track, consisting of a footbridge slightly above the tree roots in the middle of the forest with areas for contemplation and with the possibility of night visits and access to people with special needs.

The area will include the access and administrative headquarters of Flona de Goytacazes and the park services. The main equipment and buildings that will be deployed in this area will benefit and expand the existing structure, supporting the park infrastructure.

It is also planned the construction of two apartments, one for employees and one for researchers and laboratories in an annex next to the reception and recovery of debilitated wild animals. Two functional houses with garage have been set up next to the staff accommodation.

Other elements of the program that exist in the region are: a heliport; a nursery for the production of native plants, to raise awareness of the importance of reforestation; parking for local staff and researchers; the "Cocoa Trail" - with a visit to a cocoa crop, with demonstrations of harvesting and processing; the construction of a new water tower.
