Architectural project for the construction of an Insectarium at the Institute of Medical Biochemistry of the UFRJ Health Sciences Center.

This multidisciplinary project aimed at the construction of an insectarium at the IBqM-CCS-UFRJ with the proposal to create, in an open space, an insectarium with a controlled environment. This original project involved the creation of a laboratory in the middle of a common area of the block all surrounded by galvanized screens, having two entrances. The physical space of a little more than 40m2 foresees the implantation of the spaces that will be used for research activities, including the manipulation room, lineage rooms and a space for the workers.
